v3.1. - Elemental Warfare & Minions
This update introduces a major combat mechanic overhaul:
The Catalyst System. Players can now use vanilla items in their off-hand to trigger unique effects when striking with a Spear.
New Features:
- 13 New Catalyst Effects:
- Snowball: Applies Freeze ticks + Slowness.
- Slimeball: Applies strong Slowness (Sticky effect).
- Gunpowder: Explosive Knockback + Bonus Damage.
- Spider Eye: Inflicts Poison.
- Amethyst Shard: Inflicts Nausea/Confusion.
- Echo Shard: Inflicts Darkness (1.19+).
- Feather: Inflicts Levitation (Gravity control).
- Ghast Tear: Grants Regeneration to the attacker (Lifesteal).
- Chorus Fruit: Randomly teleports the victim nearby.
- Pufferfish: Paralyzes target (Slowness + Negative Jump Boost).
- Rotten Flesh: Inflicts Hunger IV.
- Cobweb: Spawns a temporary Cobweb at target's feet (Anti-grief safe).
- Wither Skull: Summons a temporary Wither Skeleton Minion.
AI & Logic Improvements:
- Smart Minions: Wither Minions now have "Loyalty Logic". They will never target their summoner, even if provoked.
- Friendly Fire Protection: You can no longer accidentally damage your own minions with sweeping attacks.
- Spam Prevention: Added an internal cooldown (2s) to Wither Skull summoning to prevent entity overflow on multi-hit attacks.
Bug Fixes & Optimization:
- Fixed a configuration typo that prevented Wither Skulls from working.
- Optimized particle rendering using native 1.21 Particle.ITEM_SLIME packets.
- Refactored code into MinionManager for better stability.
