unauthorised trade is both dangerous and economically inefficient for the State.
New Systems
Contraband Tagging
Illegal goods now carry hidden state markers. If you’re caught holding them… well… that’s on you.
Random Inspections
State Inspection Units now conduct random sweeps across the server.
Contraband may be
confiscated and your
Heat will increase.
Heat-Based Pricing
Known offenders pay higher prices on the black market.
Turns out being a wanted criminal is bad for negotiating leverage.
Propaganda Broadcasts
The State now periodically reminds citizens that illegal trading is very illegal.
Contraband Detection
Illegal items now use hidden metadata so they can be identified during inspections without obvious item changes.
Configuration
Server operators now have new YAML controls for:
- inspection frequency and penalties
- propaganda broadcast intervals
- heat-based pricing multipliers
- confiscation behaviour
- default state resource values
All gameplay systems remain
fully configurable.
Architecture
This update aligns BlackMarket with
SocialCredit Core v1.6.
- Heat is now fully owned by the core plugin
- BlackMarket interacts through the SocialCredit API
- No duplicate state systems remain
Developer Notes
The plugin now uses:
- PersistentDataContainer for contraband tagging
- core SocialCreditAPI heat access
- modular managers for inspections and broadcasts
This ensures better compatibility with
future SocialCredit ecosystem addons.
Reminder from the Ministry
Citizens engaging in unauthorised trade should report themselves immediately for administrative processing.
Failure to comply will result in
additional enthusiasm from the inspection department.
