This is a terrible plugin; there are better chat plugins out there. I regret buying it; it's completely useless to me now.

I'm updating my review. Although support was a little slow to respond to an issue I had, it was resolved quickly, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

There's a bug in the LPC-PRO formats where they don't recognize the luckperms groups, even though everything is configured in advanced settings to "luckperms_group". It doesn't link to the groups, and I don't know why. It can't be fixed with groups, permissions, or anything else.

you cannot disable mention in the server or change the text "Click to Mention %player% or " you were mentioned!"

This plugin is overloaded. Tooooo many features. I want a LPC-Pro EASY Version, with all features, that where there before the BIG (shitty) Update..

I previously left a review expressing frustration with v2's launch state, particularly around database functionality, missing config files, and Vault economy support. I want to say that every issue I raised has since been resolved.

The developer was responsive and took my feedback seriously. Database support now works as expected, config files generate properly, and economy integration functions as documented. This is the plugin I was hoping it would be.

LPC Pro has the features, the potential, and now the polish to back it up. Highly recommended.

As much as I wanted this plugin to work, it has features I really like. I went from the free version to this one about a year ago because it showed a lot of promise. The old author at the time got busy, probably IRL, which is fine and happens to us all.

Then I saw version 2.0.0 released and was really hoping I could replace an existing plugin with LPC Pro, but that hasn't been the case. A lot of the features feel almost AI-generated. Not sure if they are, but it was released in a state where channels and the database don't even function. Two files, database.yml and channels.yml, I had to manually create rather than them being auto-generated. Even after entering credentials into database.yml, it still uses SQLite rather than MySQL or MariaDB. That feature is unimplemented from startup, and there are issues with the actual database class file that I found (sorry, I decompiled it to figure out what was going on).

Overall, this plugin has a lot of potential, but I couldn't create a ticket in Discord for whatever reason. I left messages and comments in discussions only to be told, "But yeah, looks like there is an issue with the database feature, @PM2 will likely be able to assist you further though," by one of the devs of another plugin they have.

I'm not dissatisfied, just disappointed to see v2 released in such a state and to feel ignored in Discord support when pointing out these issues.

One more thing: don't advertise that the plugin supports Vault economy if it doesn't. Using CoinsEngine or TNE, neither of those work either. It seems to rely on its own economy rather than hooking into other plugins like the docs claim it does.

I will revise this review once I see those issues resolved not just with the plugin but with support through Discord. I get it I didn't pay you guys for the plugin but the old author but I still own it and you decided to get the rights to it. If you need help fixing said issues I already know how and can do a PR or tell you in Discord.

can't set up MySQL and network(Velocity) chat as promised. No reply in Discord for several days. I will change to 5 stars if it is fixed

After new developer came in and updated the resource, they have made it great and full of features

I cannot recommend LPC-Pro enough, after the new Developer (Pm2) acquired it. It's hands down a must have plugin for every server. If you're looking for a all-in-one solution for chat management (& other helpful features) please purchase this.

The new author of the plugin is a solid 5/5, PM2 just reached out to me via Discord informing me regarding the new LPC-pro 2.0 Update!

And after reporting the bugs on to the discord server, he immediately just patched all the issue that i've reported when the plugin for the first time in 2026 get a new massive update.

Honestly it's very promising where LPC-Pro 2.0 will go, because LPC's Plugin have a legacy afaik, so i think people will notice and tries this new 2.0 advanced plugin..

I'm abit dissapointed with the author 's Decision to Go & Leave despite the promises of the plugin that it offers in the future update and

THE FACT, that it's been more than A MONTH, the cost is still 50% OFF.

When I bought it I thought I found best plugin for chat, after X times plugin got lot of errors which developer trying fix but never fixed, lot of problems reported on discord. Now developer is totally unactive on discord but active on spigot

LPC-Pro is an abandoned plugin. It does not work on recent Paper/Java versions (tested on Paper 1.21.8 with Java 21) and throws errors related to BukkitAudiences and the classloader. I do not recommend using it.

The developer Wikmor was last seen 3 days 16 hours ago on SpigotMC. He is not responding on Discord despite many users reporting problems. Multiple customers are experiencing issues but the developer is not checking Discord or providing any support.

Do not buy this plugin - you will receive no help if you encounter problems.

Coming from EssentialsChat, this plugin is fantastic and can seamlessly manage chat formatting

Very cool plugin, but I lack personality to adjust the chat format for each individual group myself, as with the old LPC plugin.

So far the plugin itself is very promising, the author does really take a good care of this plugin and yes im still hoping that there will be more feature to be added soon for the roadmap lists.

However there is still few downside such as the description page itself of what it is over is not eye-catching at the moment, few people might only take this plugin just for a "Chat Basic Formats Plugin", but inside is There's not just that it has tons to offer i hope that the author will also update the Description Page to be more of "Eye catching", for the upcoming new buyers/customers.

And another side is that , by the time that i am rating this plugin i also hope that you (The Author), will add an wikipage on how the plugin works i meant not just a simple "Player Hovering Information .gif" image, this to also attract more customer in believe to "Consider" buying this worth 10$++ plugin..

This is the perfect plugin if you are looking for a confident developer, and chat plugin. They offer excellent support when they're available, and is always open to suggests & feedback. Definitely worth the money!

Great plugin overall would recommend it for single server setups. However I'm no longer able to use it until Velocity support comes and I hope a feature for global chat support for players to see ranks and formatting across all server.

Since the recode (version 1.1.0) this plugin became a very neat, clean and usable chatformat plugin.

Hopefully the developer can keep adding new features to the plugin, while keeping the clarity. Looking forward to new features!

Especially things like [item] [enderchest] and [inv] would be cool to have integrated in the plugin. Would also love to see a very advanced chat rules system with blacklists, whitelists & regex support which deals with advertisers, swearing people, spammers, flooders and more. A captcha system for flooders would also be cool so bots can be blocked if they meet certain repetitive levels. The punishment system of these chat rules should allow to run external command, but also internal violation levels/punishments would be nice. It should also be possible to distinguish in severity and consequent punishment. A chatcolor gui would also be nice to have integrated.

Update, after update & fixed i still don't see any improvements just yet, i hope the planned features that "we", requested will get an implementations soon.
