⚠️ Upgrade Advice

Before updating:

• Back up your entire Minecraft server, especially the playerdata and voiddata folders.
• Test on a staging server first to verify menus, configurations, and plugin integrations.
• Existing configurations remain compatible, but reviewing them after updating is recommended.

Version 6.8.0

This release introduces internal improvements, better performance through async systems, and additional API utilities, while continuing to refine overall plugin stability.

Fixes & Improvements

• Centralized profit calculator initialization logic for more consistent behavior
• Ensured GUI and shop files are always properly initialized for new void chests
• Removed unnecessary integrations (LitMinions & JetsMinions) to simplify maintenance

Improvements & Features

• Added async autosave system with dirty tracking for shops to improve performance and reduce disk load
• Added provider-specific hologram configuration support and updated related dependencies
• Extended API with utility methods for color parsing and enum handling

ℹ️ Long-Term Support & Future Versions
VoidChest 6.x is an LTS (Long-Term Support) branch.

• Version 6.x will continue to be supported for as long as possible on SpigotMC
• Only bug fixes and stability updates will be provided
• No new major features will be added to 6.x

Change of plans:
• Small quality-of-life (QoL) features that do not require major API or core rewrites may still be added to 6.x

VoidChest 7.x and onward will be Paper (and forks) only.

• Spigot support will be dropped starting from 7.x
• Remote Databases are disabled in 6.x and will return in 7.x

Distribution changes:
• Versions 7.x and newer will be available only on BuiltByBit
• Existing Spigot customers can open a ticket in the Discord server to transfer their license to BuiltByBit
