What is Probably Backpacks?

Probably Backpacks adds a complete tiered backpack system to your server. Players craft backpacks from Leather all the way up to Netherite — each tier offering more storage and more upgrade slots. Backpacks are equipped in the CuriosPaper Back slot and are visible on the player's back as a 3D model!

This plugin is a CuriosPaper addon — it hooks into the accessory system to provide a seamless backpack experience with custom textures, recipes, and a rich upgrade system.

Upgrades are placed into the backpack's upgrade slots to grant powerful abilities:

• Crafting Station — Open a portable crafting table from within your backpack
• Pickup Upgrade — Automatically collect picked-up items into your backpack
• Magnet Upgrade — Pull nearby items directly into your backpack
• Feeding Upgrade — Auto-feed the player using food stored in the backpack
• Refill Upgrade — Auto-refill hotbar items from the backpack as they are used
• Compacting Upgrade — Automatically compress items into blocks (e.g. Iron Ingots → Iron Block)
• ️ Stack Upgrade — Increase the max stack size of items in the backpack

An upgrade from leather — requires copper ingots and a Leather Backpack.


⚪ Iron Backpack

Solid mid-tier storage. Requires iron ingots and a Copper Backpack.


Gold Backpack

High-capacity storage with plenty of room for upgrades.


Diamond Backpack

Premium-tier storage. Only one step away from the ultimate backpack.

Crafting Station
Adds a portable crafting table to your backpack.


Pickup Upgrade
Auto-collects picked-up items into the backpack.

Pulls nearby items directly into your backpack.

Auto-feeds the player using food stored in the backpack.


Refill Upgrade
Auto-refills hotbar items from the backpack as they deplete.


Compacting Upgrade
Auto-compresses items into their block forms.

How It Works

1. Install CuriosPaper and ProbablyBackpacks into your plugins/ folder
2. Craft a backpack using the recipe for your desired tier
3. Equip the backpack in your CuriosPaper Back slot
4. Use /bp or the sneak hotkey to open your backpack
5. Install upgrades into the upgrade slots for extra abilities!

Quick Start

1. Download CuriosPaper.jar and ProbablyBackpacks.jar
2. Drop both into your server's plugins/ folder
3. Restart the server
4. Craft a Leather Backpack and equip it in the Back slot
5. Type /bp or use the sneak hotkey — you're all set!
